ALL-PEOPLE DAY FOR NATIONAL SECURITY PROTECTION IN LOC NINH WARD

Attending the festival were comrade Pham Thi Thuy Phuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the ward Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Thi Nghia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the ward People's Committee; together with representatives of departments, branches and mass organisations and a large number of cadres and residents of the locality.

At the festival, delegates jointly reviewed the results of the all-people movement for national security protection in recent times, and discussed and set out directions and tasks for the period ahead. In recent years, the all-people movement for national security protection in the ward has continued to be maintained and developed, attracting the active participation of the People. Many valuable pieces of information provided by residents have helped the functional forces promptly detect, combat and handle violations of the law, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.

At the festival, residents received free medical check-ups and took part in folk games.

As part of the festival, residents also received medical examinations, health counselling and free medicine. In addition, exchange activities and folk games such as tug-of-war and carrying a lemon with a spoon in the mouth created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, helping to strengthen the spirit of solidarity in the residential community.

Speaking at the festival, comrade Pham Thi Thuy Phuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the ward Party Committee, asked that in the coming time all levels and sectors continue to renew the content and forms and improve the quality of the all-people movement for national security protection, linking it with patriotic emulation movements and local campaigns; promote the core role of the Police force in ensuring security and order; and that every cadre and Party member uphold their sense of responsibility and set an example in observing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and actively communicate with and mobilise their families and the People to take part in maintaining local security and order.

Collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements are commended by the ward People's Committee.

At the programme, the People's Committee of Loc Ninh Ward commended and rewarded 5 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in maintaining security and order and in building the all-people movement for national security protection./.
