150 GIFTS PRESENTED TO CHILDREN IN DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES IN LOC NINH WARD

On the morning of 22 August 2026, the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child Rights - Southern Standing Office, in coordination with the People's Committee of Loc Ninh Ward, held the programme “Presenting gifts to children in difficult circumstances” in the ward.

At the programme, 150 gifts were presented to children in difficult circumstances. The gifts express the care and sharing of the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child Rights - Southern Standing Office, together with organisations, individuals and sponsors, towards children in difficult circumstances in the locality.

Although the gifts are not of great value, they are a practical source of encouragement, bringing joy and warmth and adding motivation for the children to strive in their studies and rise up in life. The programme helps spread the community's sense of responsibility in caring for, protecting and realising children's rights; and creates conditions for children in difficult circumstances to receive attention and support and to have opportunities for comprehensive development.

The activity also helps spread the tradition of “mutual affection and mutual assistance”, mobilising the joint efforts of organisations, individuals and the community in caring for children, especially children in difficult circumstances in Loc Ninh Ward./.
